Liz Smith MSP welcomes £48m infrastructure upgrade for soldiers in Scotland

Liz Smith MSP for Mid Scotland and Fife has welcomed the start of construction on a £48m infrastructure project to benefit soldiers based at Leuchars.

Commenting Liz said:

"This investment is very welcome and will deliver improved facilities, working environment for the soldiers stationed at Leuchars. The ongoing commitment and investment by the Army is very welcome. The role of this base in Fife should not be underestimated bringing economic benefit to the local community as well as ensuring that our forces are well accommodated as part of our overall picture of military bases across the UK."
