Saturday 4 December is Small Business Saturday and this week Liz Smith MSP met with representatives of this now well established campaign to encourage residents across the country to support small businesses who are the lifeblood of the economy across Scotland.
Liz said, “Small Business Saturday is just one day in the year when the focus is on the real impact that supporting our small businesses has on the economy in areas like Mid Scotland and Fife. Small businesses are a hugely important part of the economy and I would urge local residents to do what they can to support small businesses in their local area not just on the 4th December but as often as possible. We know that every £1 spent in a small business directly supports local jobs and helps create the kind of vibrant communities we all want to live and work in.”
