Liz thanks locals for helping Ukraine

Liz Smith MSP has thanked residents and businesses across Perth and Kinross who have organised a collection of humanitarian aid for those seeking refuge from Ukraine. 

Liz Smith said,

"As we have all watched with horror the events in Ukraine, it has been humbling to see the response of communities across Perth and Kinross. So many people quickly mobilised to gather together funds and items for those who have left their homes and now find themselves displaced with very few belongings. Perth and Kinross has strong and valued links with Eastern Europe. The Polish communities have taken a lead in gathering items and I would encourage anyone who can to donate to this humanitarian effort."
