Liz Smith, Scottish Conservative MSP for Mid Scotland & Fife has shown her support for children's charity CHAS this week.
Liz Smith, Scottish Conservative MSP for Mid Scotland & Fife said:
“I was delighted to show my support for the work CHAS in Parliament and highlight the support which they help to provide many families throughout Scotland.
“CHAS Kinross House is a very special place and I have been pleased to be able to support the work of CHAS locally over a number of years.
“The compassionate work which the charity has done over the last 21 years to enrich the lives of young people with life-shortening illness is admirable.
“However, it is important to note that the vast majority of funding is sourced from donations, and that the services which CHAS provide cost over £8million per year.
“Therefore, I would encourage people across Scotland to show their support for CHAS by either taking part in a fundraising event or simply making a donation and helping the charity to provide continued and vital hospice services.
“For further information please visit: www.chas.org.uk, or alternatively you can donate by phone CHAS on 0131 444 1900, or by posting your donation to CHAS, Head Office, 42 Craiglockhart Avenue, Edinburgh EH14 1LT.”
