Murdo Fraser MSP has said he is “looking forward” to meeting constituents when he travels to villages, towns and a city next month on his Summer Surgeries 2023.
The Scottish Conservative politician will visit a range of locations across Perthshire and Fife in August – something he does during every summer recess from the Scottish Parliament.
Commenting, Mr Fraser said: “I am really looking forward to meeting and speaking with constituents through my Summer Surgeries tour of Perthshire and Fife. It gives people an opportunity to speak to me face-to-face and discuss any issue they wish with myself. I am sure we will be as busy as ever with constituents who are seeking help with problems or have issues that they wish to raise.”
“Dealing with constituents forms a major part of my job as an MSP and I enjoy looking into these matters and hopefully producing a satisfactory solution. We obviously couldn’t go ahead with Summer Surgeries during the Covid pandemic so it was good to resume them last year.”
Mr Fraser will be visiting Blairgowrie, Bridge of Cally and Rattray on August 8; Invergowrie, Longforgan, Inchture, Errol and St Madoes on August 9; Alyth, Meigle, Coupar Angus, Burrelton and Scone on August 10; Perth on August 11; Auchtermuchty, Cupar and Newburgh on August 14; Dunkeld, Murthly, Stanley, Bankfoot and Luncarty on August 15 and Kinloch Rannoch, Blair Atholl, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy on August 16.
