Murdo Fraser's website was hacked by Russians who had targeted it following his support for Ukraine.
The attack on the MSP's site was identified by a dedicated cyber security team within Conservative Party's HQ in London. Mr Fraser's website was then frozen, meaning it could not be accessed or updated, before being allowed to give live again this week.
Commenting, Murdo Fraser MSP said: "This was a cowardly attack on democracy by what appears to be a Russian group hostile to any politicians supportive of Ukraine. I'm proud to support Ukraine as they stand firm against Putin's appalling invasion of their country.
"Thankfully, the party's online security team seem to have resolved the problem and my website is operating normally again, for the benefit of my constituents."
Mr Fraser added: "This cyber attack was unprovoked and unjustified."
The UK's cyber defence agency has previously warned about the threat of attacks on politicians from Russian hackers.
