Crieff resident, Noah Khogali, was elected as a Cllr in for Strathearn in the Scottish Council Elections in May 2022.
Noah has highlighted the long-term recovery of all Strathearn businesses, from hospitality to high street shopping, as a key focus of his term.
Commenting, he laid out why this was such a crucial issue: “the pandemic took a huge toll on businesses and residents across Strathearn. So much of our sense of community stems from our high streets being vibrant, thriving and successful. If we can elevate our community spirit, that trickles down to so many other things, be that successfully tackling vandalism and anti social behaviour, or the long-term success of the terrific community groups and projects that all operate across the ward. Everything is interconnected, and it all comes back to a sense of this being home. We must remember that.”
Mr Khogali made clear that he is determined to fight the SNP on huge real terms cuts to Council funding that will detrimentally affect every single individual in Scotland both in terms of their pocket, and the way that key council services are delivered.
Liz Smith MSP added: “Noah will make an outstanding councillor. As a resident of Strathearn, he is exceptionally well versed in local issues and cares deeply about our local communities.
He is hardworking and well-respected, and l look forward to supporting him in the local government term.”
